This is Murphy, a spearfighter from the grungs. He's living in the swamps in the DnD universe. These creatures are tiny, aggressive and their skin is poisened. My goal was to tell a story so I made the camera a bit topdown. In this angle Murphy feels a bit threatened and gets into parry position. the environment was done with megascans. Murphy was sculpted in zbrush, textured in substance painter and rendered in marmoset toolbag 4 with raytraycing. After that I did some comp in Photoshop.
